Keith Smith Presents at the 13th Annual Premier Diversified-Fairfax Financial Shareholder’s Dinner

Scores of Premier Diversified investors and Fairfax Financial shareholders enjoyed a keynote presentation from Bonhoeffer Fund Portfolio Manager Keith Smith at the 13th Annual Premier Diversified-Fairfax Financial Shareholder’s Dinner in Toronto on April 25, 2018. Keith discussed the Bonhoeffer strategy of finding and investing in compound mispricings, mischaracterized firms, and public LBOs with a goal of finding “50-cent on the dollar” opportunities.

Premier Diversified CEO and Corner Capital founder Sanjeev Parsad organized the event in memory of JoAnn Butler. JoAnn was Prem Watsa’s long-time executive assistant who passed away from colon cancer in 2009. The event has raised more than $160,000 over the past eight years for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada.

The event also included presentations from Mr. Watsa, senior Fairfax staff, and a panel discussion with Mohnish Pabrai, Francis Chou, Arnold Van Den Berg, and others.
